Created in Processing.

As an introduction to programming, I created a digital toy. A character orders his desired sushi, and the player must drag and drop the correct on onto his plate.

I tried experimenting with different ways to colour the sushi, giving them different appearances and textures. As I am first and foremost an artist, I value the overall visual quality of a product.

Ultimately, I went with the flat shading with lines for texture, as the rest of my game and the character himself is flat/cel-coloured without shading, and I wanted to keep it unified.
the different designs for sushi
The simple animations were enough to convey to the player what the character was currently doing: ordering food, eating food (good match), or disagreeing (bad match).

Although animations are difficult to do in Processing (unlike Unity), I still wanted to add them for character.
